Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Chief Engineer to direct all engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, energy management, asset protection, and compliance.

This leader supervises engineering staff, budgeting, inventory, safety programs, and coordination with the General Manager to align with brand standards and financial goals.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to maintain high-quality service and guest comfort across the property.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in hospitality or large facilities is preferred.
• Ability to plan and manage budgets and resources.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and ensure adherence to brand standards and regulations.
• Lead preventive maintenance, energy management, and asset protection programs.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory control, and cost optimization across the department.
• Coordinate with the General Manager and Corporate Office to align with business goals and service standards.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures are followed hospital-wide.
