Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Chief Engineer to direct all engineering operations for our hotel, including emergency programs, energy management, asset protection, preventive maintenance and repairs to equipment, structures and grounds.

You will lead the engineering staff, align activities with the General Manager and Corporate Office, ensure brand standards and regulatory compliance, and manage budgets to achieve financial goals and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Successful track record in profitable engineering management.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills.
• Strong analytical, budgeting and contract negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering, aligning with brand standards and financial goals.
• Lead the Engineering staff, budgeting, asset protection and inventory control.
• Coordinate with the General Manager and Corporate Office to position the hotel as a market leader.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect facilities and drive preventative maintenance and guest satisfaction.
