Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks a Chief Engineer to oversee the hotel’s engineering operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will manage a team, coordinate inspections, and drive capital projects to maintain high service levels.

The role requires extensive experience in building management/engineering, strong leadership, and a dedication to guest satisfaction in a 24/7 hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Willingness to oversee 24/7 operations and large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functionality and safety of the facility, including buildings, systems, and grounds.
• Direct and supervise engineering staff and incident reporting.
• Coordinate permits, inspections and safety compliance with authorities.
• Assist in capital projects and property rehabilitations.
• Ensure brand standards and local, state, and federal regulations are met.
