Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management seeks an experienced Engineering leader to oversee the functionality and safety of the hotel facility, including electrical, mechanical, life-safety, and grounds systems. You will direct maintenance, capital projects, and staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and brand standards while driving operational efficiency and guest safety.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Minimum of three years of managerial skills.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and ensure compliance with brand standards and regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate the condition of engineering spaces, equipment, and inventories.
• Direct emergency programs including maintenance, training, drills, and record-keeping.
• Communicate with department heads and staff to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
