Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering operations across the property, including emergency programs, energy management, and asset protection. You will lead staff, budgeting, and safety initiatives while aligning with brand standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in building management, strong leadership, and the ability to drive cost-effective improvements while delivering high-quality guest service 24/7.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor management capabilities.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of engineering and maintenance for the hotel.
• Lead budgeting, capital planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Oversee safety, asset protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage engineering staff, procurement, and inventory controls.
• Walk the property to identify issues and ensure timely repairs.
