Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, pool, and grounds. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment, and support safety procedures.

Candidates should have high school diploma (preferred) and a solid hands-on background in building trades, with the ability to work 24/7 shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Willingness to work varied shifts in a 24/7 hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning mechanical or electrical systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a schedule.
• Maintains pool and grounds, including chemicals and cleaning.
• Reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
