Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Technician to maintain and repair the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, participate in preventative maintenance, and support grounds and pool areas. The role requires the ability to work varied shifts and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus strong safety awareness and basic tool skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Experience in HVAC, basic electrical, plumbing and general facility maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a schedule (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool, grounds, and building exterior; supports upkeep of FF&E and physical plant.
