Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer responsible for the prevention and repair of mechanical and electrical systems across the property, including HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and exterior upkeep.

The role requires troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, safety adherence, and collaboration with engineering teams to keep guest areas and facilities in optimal condition. The hotel operates 24/7, so shift variations may occur.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis (e.g., room care).
• Services the hotel pool, including chemistry adjustments and filter cleaning. records logs.
• Maintains building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
• Assists other Engineering personnel and follows safety procedures at all times.
