Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to service and repair our hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems. You will perform preventative maintenance and support the upkeep of FF&E, grounds, pool, and the exterior to preserve curb appeal.

The role requires knowledge across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, with ability to follow safety protocols and hotel policies. Applicants should be able to work varied shifts due to 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

Knowledge of all maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
Must recognize safety hazards and security problems and act accordingly.
Willing to comply with hotel policies including safety, security, and grooming.
Capable of troubleshooting and repairing routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) and other hotel equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
Maintains pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters, and logs maintenance requests.
Maintains the building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, landscaping).
Follows safety and security procedures and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
