Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician responsible for preventative and repair of the hotel’s mechanical/electrical systems and for the general upkeep of the physical plant, FF&E, grounds, and pool.

The role involves troubleshooting mechanical/electrical malfunctions, performing scheduled maintenance, servicing the pool, and maintaining exterior areas while complying with safety procedures and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and security problems.
• Willingness to comply with hotel policies and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical malfunctions in hotel systems across the property.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool, chemicals, and filtration; logs maintenance requests.
• Maintains building exterior and curb appeal including lawn care and painting.
• Adheres to company policies, safety, and security procedures.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
• Follows supervisor instructions and performs related duties.
