Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is hiring a maintenance technician to protect the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, ensure general upkeep of the property, FF&E, grounds and pool, and support daily operations.

The role requires troubleshooting and repairing hotel equipment, completing preventative maintenance on a regular basis, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver reliable service to guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Willingness to follow safety, security and grooming standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis, e.g., room care.
• Maintains pool, chemicals, and logs; reports safety issues to supervisor.
• Cares for exterior grounds, curb appeal, painting and landscaping.
• Applies company policies, follows safety and security procedures.
