Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance across the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and related systems. The role includes servicing HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment, maintaining outdoor areas and FF&E, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-kept property.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of maintenance trades, be able to follow safety procedures, and work flexible shifts as the hotel operates

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Able to recognize safety hazards and follow hotel policies.
• Skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry and painting basics.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair routine hotel system malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) and other hotel equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool care, chemical levels, and equipment logs.
• Maintains exterior curb appeal including lawn, painting and landscaping.
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures.
• Reports unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor.
