Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a General Manager for Residence Inn Palmdale to drive profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction. You will develop employees and maintain hotel integrity within the Select Service division.

The role requires leadership across departments, regular financial reviews, and active involvement in sales efforts, budgeting, and training. Strong communication and a proven hospitality background are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask, plan, forecast, and manage budgets.
• Experience with hotel sales, guest satisfaction, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Tour operating departments daily and adjust via department heads.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and training sessions per standards.
• Meet financial review dates and corporate programs on time.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with managers and supervisors.
• Maintain budgets and ensure profitability and expense control.
• Develop managers through competency training and programs.
