Job summary

Highgate Hotels Vacaville property seeks a General Manager to drive profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and staff development, while upholding Highgate standards. The role oversees daily operations, budgets, and ensures alignment with Select Service Division goals.

The GM leads department heads, conducts regular reviews, mentors managers, and participates in sales initiatives to grow market share while maintaining service excellence and property integrity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 4–5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 5–6 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Tour operating departments daily and adjust plans via department heads.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and training sessions per Highgate standards; review past and future sales/ops efforts.
• Meet all financial review dates and corporate programs in a timely fashion.
• Hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors.
• Ensure department heads meet budgeted productivity and follow Highgate SOPs for accounting.
