Highgate Hotels L.P. is seeking a General Manager for a Select Service Residence Inn in Rosemont, IL. The GM will focus on profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and staff development, while upholding Highgate standards.

The role involves directing daily operations, leading departments, managing budgets and training managers to advance careers, with strong emphasis on sales, service, and compliance with company SOPs.

Qualificações

• At least 6 years progressive experience in hotel or related field.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Excellent communication and guest service focus.

Responsabilidades

• Tour operating departments daily and adjust as needed with department heads.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and training per Highgate standards.
• Meet financial review dates and corporate programs on time.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with managers and supervisors.
• Ensure adherence to budgeted productivity and accounting procedures.
• Develop managers through competency and corporate training.
• Lead daily sales/HHBR meetings with sales and on-site contacts.
• Drive hotel sales activity by calling top accounts and hosting client events.
• Ensure required MOD coverage and training compliance.
• Oversee budgeting and maintenance programs across departments.
