Highgate Hotels is seeking a General Manager for Residence Inn Louisville. The GM will lead daily hotel operations, drive revenue, manage costs, and maintain guest satisfaction while developing a skilled management team.

You will oversee budgeting, staff performance, sales initiatives, and adherence to brand standards, collaborating with department heads to meet financial goals and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop management staff.

Responsibilities

• Tour departments daily and adjust operations with department heads.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and training sessions per Highgate standards.
• Meet financial review dates and corporate programs on schedule.
• Oversee monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors.
• Ensure budgeting, productivity and proper cash handling in all departments.
• Develop managers through competency training and corporate programs.
• Lead hotel sales efforts, call on top accounts, host luncheons and client meetings.
• Participate in MOD coverage and manage guest service standards.
• Monitor trainee development and ensure adherence to standards.
• Support budget processes and coordinate with the Director of Operations.
