Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction and financial profitability across all departments. The GM will lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and service initiatives while acting as the primary liaison with owners and corporate entities.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage a team through change, while maintaining brand standards and ensuring safety and operational

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant role with emphasis on sales.
• 3-5 years’ prior experience as General Manager.
• Understanding of hotel management practices and relevant laws.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all hotel operations to deliver guest service and profitability.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Lead, train and develop department managers and staff.
• Ensure brand standards and compliance across all areas.
• Drive revenue through sales initiatives and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor safety, maintenance and operational controls.
