Highgate Hotels is seeking a General Manager for the Residence Inn Ohare/Rosemont to lead hotel operations and drive profitability through revenue generation, cost control and guest satisfaction, while developing employees and maintaining property integrity for the Select Service Division.

You will oversee daily operations, conduct meetings, manage budgets, supervise training, participate in MOD coverage, and drive sales by engaging with top accounts and on-site clients to deliver outstanding

Qualifications

• At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and 4–5 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 5–6 years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Tour operating departments daily and adjust as needed via department heads.
• Hold weekly staff meetings and training sessions per Highgate standards, review sales and operations efforts.
• Meet all financial review dates and corporate programs.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors.
• Ensure budgeted productivity levels and standard accounting procedures are followed.
• Develop managers through competency training and corporate programs.
• Lead daily HHBR meetings with the Director of Sales to discuss prospecting and account activity.
• Engage in hotel sales activities: call on top accounts, host luncheons, meet on-site contacts.
• Participate in MOD coverage and management trainee development.
• Train staff to Highgate Garden Standard of the Week and ensure safety and service quality.
• Oversee budgeting processes and ensure guest-focused service.
