Job summary

Residence Inn Louisville seeks an Assistant General Manager to drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and team development. You will oversee daily hotel operations, collaborate with department heads, and ensure adherence to Highgate standards.

This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and hands-on management of revenue and cost controls. You will lead weekly trainings, attend required meetings, and ensure budget compliance while guiding managers toward future advancement

Qualifications

• At least 5-6 years progressive experience in a hotel.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with employees and guests.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
• Participate in MOD coverage as required.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts and hosting events.
• Tour the operating departments daily and adjust as needed with department heads.
• Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs in a timely fashion.
• Forecast monthly the hotel's financial position and analyze data.
• Prepare and conduct management interviews and hiring procedures.
• Oversee and assist in budget process and ensure compliance with standards.
