Job summary

InTown Suites in Nashville seeks a General Manager to oversee daily operations and financial performance of a single property. You will lead staff, ensure safety, cleanliness, and superb guest service while managing budgets and capital needs.

The role requires strong leadership, revenue management skills, and the ability to work long hours in a fast-paced hotel environment. Join a team focused on guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a functioning automobile.
• Read, speak, write and understand the English language to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret information in reports and internal hotel data.
• Sufficient math skills to forecast and analyze room revenue, occupancy and labor costs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire all property staff.
• Train, develop and support property staff.
• Oversee office operations including check-in/out, cash handling and payroll.
• Ensure excellent guest service at all times.
• Develop expertise on front office systems and processes.
• Identify and address maintenance and capital expenditure needs.
• Monitor and follow up on life/safety and inspection issues.
• Drive revenue through pricing and local marketing initiatives.
• Meet budgets through P&L analysis and cost controls.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and financial reporting.
