Responsibilities

• Greet, register and assign rooms; coordinate group check-ins and VIP arrivals; use up-selling techniques to maximize room rates
• Handle guest records with integrity
• Answer calls promptly and route messages accurately
• Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager
• Offer wake-up calls and promote hotel services and amenities
• Record relevant guest information in pass-on logs
• Replenish continental breakfast when needed and keep the area clean
• Ensure the lobby and common areas are clean and welcoming
• Perform laundry and related tasks as directed
• Process guest check-ins/outs and handle payments per policy
• Answer phones in a friendly and efficient manner
• Coordinate transportation for guests as needed
• Resolve guest concerns to ensure satisfaction and inform supervisors of major issues
• Complete daily cash handling and paperwork; post charges; prepare deposits and cash drawer
• Transmit/receive messages via computer, telephone, email, fax, and switchboard
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies
