Job summary

Hampton Inn Cumming is seeking a friendly and service-focused front desk agent to join our guest services team on site in Cumming, Georgia. You will welcome guests, check them in and out, record bookings, and handle inquiries with a positive attitude.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and basic computer skills; prior hotel experience is preferred. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping and reservations to ensure a smooth, welcoming stay for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of hotel industry experience preferred.
• Experience handling telephone calls and solving stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in and check out guests at the front desk, issue keys and record bookings.
• Answer inquiries in person or online and resolve guest questions or requests.
• Field customer complaints when necessary and escalate when appropriate.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and accuracy.
• Perform regular bookkeeping duties and keep guest information current.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You’ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. You will bring excellent communication skills and a passion for putting our guests first.

Responsibilities:

• Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
• Field customer complaints when necessary
• Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
• Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
• Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct

Qualifications:

• Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
• Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred

Compensation:

$12 - $14 hourly
