Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates' Homewood Suites Canton seeks a Front Desk Agent to deliver exceptional guest service at our Canton, MA property. You will assist with check-in/out, reservations, and guest inquiries, using our Property Management System to ensure accuracy and a warm welcome.

The ideal candidate has hotel customer service experience; Hilton familiarity is a plus. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for development; evening shifts 2 PM–10 PM and weekend availability are

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including Word and Excel is strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out via the Property Management System.
• Handle cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identify guest needs and provide information on hotel services and amenities.
• Take reservations from callers and input in the PMS; update/cancel as requested.
• Typical Schedule: Primarily Evening Shifts: 2 PM–10 PM, Weekend Availability.

Homewood Suites by Hilton -Boston/Canton-50 Royall Street, Canton, MA 02021

We are currently looking for front desk agents to join our Team! Our Homewood Suites in Canton has 98 spacious suites with full kitchens. We are just south of Boston, you can easily take the nearby 128 train to Boston. Gillette Stadium and Legacy Place are a 15-minute drive. Less than a mile away is the Blue Hills Reservation and Trillium Brewing. Our guests enjoy a self-serve beer and wine station and complimentary breakfast every morning. The Homewood Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Front Desk Agent is the face of the hotel, and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputs all information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Typical Schedule : Primarily Evening Shifts: 2 PM – 10 PM, Weekend Availability
