Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to safeguard and repair the hotel's mechanical and electrical systems, FF&E, and grounds. This role supports the hotel's 24/7 operations and requires flexibility with shifts.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and other equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety protocols. Strong knowledge of maintenance trades and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• English literacy and communication skills required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Maintains pool operations: chemicals, filters, and logs.
• Maintains exterior grounds and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Assists other Engineering personnel as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
