Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep building systems running smoothly and safely. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, and service the pool and guest areas.

The role requires vocational training in building trades, with a preference for hotel experience. You will work on a busy property with a focus on energy efficiency and guest satisfaction, including on-site work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry experience required or equivalent training.
• Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems to keep the hotel operating smoothly.
• Inspect electrical systems, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and related equipment; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Service the pool, adjust chemicals, and maintain pool equipment and filtration.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and common areas; move items as needed.
• Respond to guest questions and work requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
