Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is seeking a maintenance technician to uphold building systems and guest safety across a historic hotel in Greenwich, CT. You’ll manage preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure energy efficiency while keeping guest areas in top condition.

Qualified applicants will have vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain hotel quality.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks such as room care.
• Check electrical systems and perform minor repairs.
• Repair and service equipment including HVAC, boilers, pool equipment.
• Maintain pool chemistry and logs.
• Maintain exterior curb appeal and furniture refurbishing.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
