Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich in Old Greenwich, CT is seeking an Engineer I to maintain building systems and envelopes to ensure guest safety and comfort. You will perform preventative maintenance, follow SOPs, and help uphold energy efficiency while supporting the hotel's service culture.

The role requires flexibility with AM/PM/weekend hours; prior hotel maintenance experience preferred; strong communication and the ability to work with supervisors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry experience required.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Inspect electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems for issues.
• Maintain building exterior and interior furnishings.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Adhere to safety, SOPs and maintenance logs.
