Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hotel maintenance professional at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich to maintain building systems and ensure guest safety and comfort. Role involves preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and keeping the property in peak condition.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks, pool maintenance, furniture refurbishment, and exterior upkeep. Must be flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry training/experience required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Strong communication and ability to receive instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g., room care).
• Check electrical systems and perform minor repairs.
• Repair hotel equipment including boilers, pool, HVAC and plumbing.
• Service the pool and maintain chemical levels.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal.
• Refurbish furniture in guest rooms.
• Move furniture throughout the building.
• Respond to guest questions and requests to maintain satisfaction.
• Flexible schedule; AM/PM/weekends/holidays availability.
