Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich is seeking an Overnight Engineer to support preventative maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentrywork. You will perform scheduled care, respond to guest requests, and help keep the property in top condition.

This on-site role in Old Greenwich, CT offers hands-on maintenance with exposure to building systems, a focus on safety, and opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or trade training in one or more of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
• Effective communication and teamwork to coordinate with hotel staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders (ceiling tiles, light bulbs, fixtures).
• Inspect electrical systems and assist with HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Maintain guest room furniture and fixtures; assist on major repairs as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
