Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich seeks a maintenance technician to support preventative and routine maintenance across the hotel. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems to uphold product quality and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include room care, equipment upkeep, and responding to guest requests with professionalism. The role involves physical tasks, exposure to temperature extremes, and operating heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities strongly preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, etc.).
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Inspect and repair guest rooms, public areas, and building infrastructure to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain outdoor areas and building curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
