Job summary

Encore Global in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. You will work under the supervision of an Operations Manager or Director, Event Technology and participate in on-site event support.

Responsibilities include high-quality equipment setup, on-site guest interaction, prompt troubleshooting, accurate system entries in Navigator, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet training and certification requirements per Encore policies.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with guests.
• Meet with on-site guests to ensure equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and check in with customers throughout the day.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors to manage equipment needs.
