Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director or Director, Event Technology and requires the ability to work on site with guests.

You will handle setup, operation and breakdown, troubleshoot equipment, support client relationships, and complete paperwork accurately; prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Strive to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
• Meet with guests on-site to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Interact with staff and outside vendors for equipment and finalize invoices.
• Complete order entries and paperwork accurately.
