Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a skilled AV Technician to set up and operate basic small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. You will ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering reliable event support and timely breakdowns, reporting to the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination with hotel staff and clients, basic troubleshooting, accurate systems entry in Navigator, and up-selling related services to maximize hotel

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Internal candidates must meet Encore Learning requirements and be certified as needed.
• At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with audio-visual equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment per job specs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and communicate effectively with clients.
• Complete accurate system entries and paperwork in Navigator.
• Assist with on-site up-selling of services to increase revenue.
