Job summary

Encore Global in San Antonio is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring total guest satisfaction. You’ll report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and collaborate with hotel staff and outside vendors to prepare events.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, problem solving, and proper paperwork such as Navigator entries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must obtain training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must complete Encore Learning Training Program as determined by Encore’s policy.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure equipment works and needs are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
• Complete orders and interact with clients and vendors; document accurately in Navigator.
• Maintain paperwork and follow company processes for system entries.
