Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work on-site, coordinate with hotel staff and vendors, and monitor events to guarantee proper equipment functioning.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. You will lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hotel/convention environment with irregular hours.

Qualifications

• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet/complete training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for those who may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in the technical qualifications section.
• Meets with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met, and the equipment setup is working properly.
• Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
• Interacts with other staff and outside vendors for equipment.
