Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure flawless event execution, maintain client relationships, and troubleshoot equipment and software issues on-site.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (Associates preferred), 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license. Expect to lift up to 50 lbs and work irregular hours in hotel/convention environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed.
• Exceed expectations of internal and external customers.
• Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
• Meet with guests on-site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues as needed.
• Follow procedures, complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Use Navigator for order entries and interact with staff/vendors.
