Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure customer satisfaction and work under the direction of the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

Responsibilities include on-site equipment setup, client communication, and accurate documentation. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Prior hospitality or AV experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• External applicants must meet and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entry and paperwork; coordinate with staff and vendors as needed.
