Job summary

Encore Global is hiring a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/conference environment. You will meet with guests on site, ensure equipment functions properly, and maintain strong client relations throughout events.

The role requires a high school diploma, possibly an associate degree, and experience in hospitality or AV. You may need to lift up to 50 lbs and hold a valid driver's license. This is an on-site position with dynamic hours around events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; training/certifications within 60 days.
• Internal/External applicant training requirements reviewed in company system.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audiovisual experience or equivalent in educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships.
• Communicate effectively with clients and on-site staff to ensure equipment works properly.
• Document orders and perform system entries (Navigator) accurately.
• Upsell equipment and coordinate with clients to finalize invoices.
