Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction through accurate setup, operation, and breakdown, coordinating with hotel staff to meet event needs.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of customer service or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. DOT considerations may apply; safety and service are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply; must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic AV equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed guest and client expectations with proactive service and communication.
• Troubleshoot basic AV issues and maintain system functionality.
• Enter orders and manage paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
