Job summary

ITA is hiring a part-time HOTEL TECHNICIAN for Chandler Marriott in Chandler, AZ. You will deliver and service AV products on-site for events, ensuring equipment readiness and customer satisfaction throughout the venue’s banquet operations.

Responsibilities include reviewing AV orders, meeting guest needs, and coordinating with hotel staff. You must maintain professional appearance, respond promptly to pages, manage admin tasks, and handle equipment with care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent two-year college/technical school or minimum one year of in-house audio visual experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the published ITA Hotel Service Standards.
• Review AV orders in advance and identify needed equipment.
• Assess guest AV needs and suggest equipment to meet them.
• Maintain regular contact with customers during events.
• Demonstrate urgency in fulfilling guests' needs and resolve issues quickly.
• Set up and strike AV equipment in a smooth, noninvasive manner.
• Attend Banquet Event Orders and pre-convention meetings when required.
• Create work orders and submit accurate AV charges daily.
• Log time entries and keep the work area organized and clean.
