Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work under the supervision of an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology, handling equipment, on-site client meetings, and coordination with hotel staff.

Responsibilities include safe operation and troubleshooting of AV gear, accurate paperwork, and up-selling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Assist with on-site customer service and monitor events throughout the day.
• Complete equipment paperwork and interact with hotel staff and vendors as needed.
• Assist with invoicing and order entries in Navigator when required.
