Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in our Scottsdale hotel environment. You will work with events, ensure smooth operation, and collaborate with the events team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), at least one year of hospitality or customer service experience, and basic AV knowledge. You will lift up to 50 lbs and may need a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal candidates must meet Encore's certification requirements per internal program.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Ensure guest needs are met and maintain positive client relationships.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and communicate effectively with clients.
• Complete order entries and paperwork accurately per hotel processes.
