Hilton Garden Inn Detroit/Novi is seeking an Assistant General Manager to supervise hotel departments, support the General Manager, and uphold brand standards. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, managing day-to-day operations, and driving revenue through strategic planning and staff leadership.

The candidate will coordinate with sales to improve occupancy, oversee financial processes, and ensure safety and quality across all hotel functions, while mentoring team members to align

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of overall hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage hotel departments to maintain brand standards and guest satisfaction.
• Assist GM with forecasts, budgets and revenue initiatives to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate with sales on strategies to improve occupancy and revenue.
• Oversee front office systems, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and internal audits.
• Ensure safety compliance and uphold MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues to maintain high guest satisfaction.
