Job summary

Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager and to develop the team to exceed service standards.

You will supervise daily operations, guest relations, housekeeping and sales initiatives to boost occupancy. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hotel leadership experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a changing schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel leadership, including front desk.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proactive in solving problems.
• Willing to work a changing schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and provide hands-on guidance to achieve outstanding results.
• Post checks in PMS, manage weekly labor tracker and payment reports.
• Maintain high guest readiness and address guest concerns.
• Assign rooms and inspect housekeeping.
• Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and guest relations.
• Lead in-house sales and marketing to increase occupancy.
• Cover shifts as needed to ensure operations continuity.
• Follow property emergency procedures and security needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
