Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention center environment. You will ensure flawless events, assist guests, and collaborate with events teams to deliver superior service.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma (Associate’s preferred), at least 1 year in hospitality or AV experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Hourly pay ranges from $14.22 to $18.49 depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for team members operating company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships on site.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly.
• Complete system entry and paperwork accurately; coordinate with staff and vendors.
