Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audio-visual systems in a hotel/convention center environment, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution.

You will support equipment operation, on-site customer service, and collaboration with staff and vendors. A High School Diploma is required, an Associate’s degree is preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be needed; hourly pay ranges from $12.80 to $16.64.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceed internal and external customer expectations through effective communication.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Document orders and interact with staff and vendors to coordinate equipment needs.
