Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Chief Engineer leads all engineering operations for the hotel, directing staff, budgeting, asset protection, preventive maintenance, and compliance with brand standards and regulations. The role requires hands-on leadership, shift coordination, and collaboration with the General Manager.

You will walk the property daily to inspect conditions, manage preventative maintenance, oversee safety programs, and coordinate with local authorities and insurers.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• managerial responsibilities including budgeting, staff oversight, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and budgetary planning.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and regulations.
• Inspect facilities, manage preventive maintenance, and coordinate safety programs.
• Lead engineering staff and liaise with General Manager and corporate office.
