Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hotel/convention environment. You will ensure guest satisfaction by delivering reliable equipment support and professional service.

The role requires a high school diploma, with preferred experience in hospitality or AV and a valid driver’s license. Expect teamwork in a fast-paced hotel setting with variable hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Customer Service: exceed client expectations and maintain positive client relationships; verify on-site equipment works.
• Technical Ability: troubleshoot and solve equipment/software issues promptly.
• Systems Knowledge: follow processes, perform accurate paperwork, and coordinate with staff and vendors.
