Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and requires strong customer service to exceed client expectations.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, with preferred Associate’s degree, and 1 year of AV or hospitality experience. A valid driver’s license is required; lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operation and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day; foster client relationships.
• Complete system entries and paperwork; interact with staff and vendors for equipment.
