Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an on-site Technician to set up, operate and strike basic audiovisual systems within a hospitality environment. You will work closely with clients to ensure equipment functions properly and expectations are exceeded.

A driver’s license is required for potential vehicle operations, and physical lifting of up to 50 lbs is expected. Preferred candidates have 1 year in customer service or hospitality and AV experience, with the ability to manage paperwork and coordinate with

Qualifications

• External applicants must meet/validate and complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet review training and certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for potential vehicle operation.
• DOT requirements may apply where applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Delivers superior customer service and maintains client relationships onsite.
• Troubleshoots technical and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Completes systems entry and paperwork; coordinates with staff and vendors.
• Assists with invoicing and uses Navigator for orders when needed.
